Path to Paris series of games discussion

There is a full slate of men’s and women’s national team games in Southern and Northern California this summer leading up to the Paris Olympics.

The men started off with a win over Montenegro last night at Mt SAC and will continue Friday at UCSD.

The women kick off in La Jolla on the 25th.

I attended the game last night and thought Drew Holland really looked on his game. Hannes lead all scorers with 4. Hallock and a few others didn’t play in favor of SNT debuts for Bernardo Herzer, Jake Howerton and Pete Castillo.

Love to hear anyone’s thoughts on any of the games as they progress.

This men’s Olympic team definitely has the potential to win some big big games. They will need to keep their emotions in check, which is what cost them at World Champs earlier this year.

They handled Montenegro easily last night without the best player in which is a good sign. I love how they continue to utilize the hockey sub to benefit themselves.
