I saw LAAC “signed” Dodd brothers , but you would think R Dodd would play for Youth squad to prep for worlds in June .

As young and as phenomenal he is, I don’t think R Dodd can play with the Youth team; the Youth National Team are High Schoolers from ODP Pipeline. The kids would love that though!
I thought the team at senior nationals was the team going to world Juniors ?

It would be fun to see him play against other players his age considering the last 12 months with the national team and UCLA he’s pretty much been the youngest player in the pool.
At first I was thinking he probably wouldn’t and shouldn’t be rostered on the junior team simply because he’s already on the senior team and it would allow another player the opportunity. But on second thought, I think he should play and we should go for the gold. Even looking at it from a development perspective instead of a winning perspective, Ryder does a great job making his teammates better and they’d be playing better teams come medal round.
He should play in any high level tournament he is eligible for (if he wants to). Juniors has elite talent and will be great experience for him.

Ryder is amazing for sure. He is likely playing in the U20 Worlds then would image he plays with the senior team in Signapore.

Now that the rosters are posted with the schedule, I would pick NYAC over Junior for the final and LAAC over O club for 3rd. IF all the rostered players actually show up. This group will be hard to contain and no Hooper on O club will slow them down.

Def the best roster especially with the new Cabanas (lock down center D), so I am solely banking on a lack of teamwork as they have never played together previously.
