UCLA Women's Water Polo Club -- Looking for a coach!

We’re the UCLA Women’s Water Polo Club, and we’re looking for a coach to join us for the upcoming year and season!

Our season officially runs during Winter Quarter (January–April), but we’d love to have someone on board for pre-season practices in the fall. We practice three times per week (about two hours per session) with very few weekend commitments.

We are a competitive, student-run club team that holds tryouts in winter. We form two squads:

  • A Team: Highly competitive and focused on performance.

  • B Team: Emphasizes development and fair playing time.

In 2024, we were Regional Champions and finished as National Runner-up—plus we made a special trip to Buc-ee’s, which was arguably just as important.

We practice at Spieker Aquatics Center, so you get to cosplay as Adam Wright.

Our team is full of strong personalities, which makes for dynamic, energetic, and always entertaining practices. Working with us is not just about winning (although we do that); it’s about being part of a passionate, motivated, and tight-knit group.

Of course, this position is compensated, which we can discuss further.
