Curious if anyone knows…I’m interested in Southern Section but probably applies to all.
In past years teams and players were in a defined CIF division all year and compared/selected against other players in that division.
With the changes this year will playoff division, determined at the very end of the season, be the division for All CIF?
I am guessing the answer is yes but would seem to punish the “bubble” teams on the fringes of two divisions. I.e…a stud player is left off an All CIF D2 team because of a low seed and early playoff exit but would have been a candidate for All CIF or maybe even POY in D3.
Curious if anyone knows if there is anything CIF has written down.
