Quick question: why no Stanford on your list if they’re roughly the same level as Lamo? Also curious which Patriot team shows up.
Bracketing. Stanford winning their initial round-robin will put them in group M where they’ll have to beat Newport, and I don’t see anyone beating Newport.

Expect some upsets on Saturday in 14u AA if everyone brings their full rosters. Could see Greenwich beating SD shores in expected matchup on Saturday. Mission could make waves on Saturday too depending on who is there.

I’m not sure I’d consider a Greenwich victory in that game an upset. When Greenwich faced SD Shores at Patriot Games, Shores had no answer for Greenwich’s 2M center-forward. It is possible Shores was sandbagging as it was an exhibition game on a 3-game day, but the end result was a 14-9 win for Greenwich.
Greenwich vs SD Shores will be a game to watch. I really hope someone friendly gets video of that game as I have to be at a different pool at 6:30PM on Saturday.

Sorry yes agree not an upset based on seeding or prior game at patriot games but I meant upset to your prediction of SD shores finishing 4th.

As a travel trip San Diego is a great tournament. Unfortunately 5min quarters and pools being divided into small courses prevent it from being anything more than a fun travel trip.
