I suspect that two of the three individuals you mentioned are waiting to see what Brian Flacks will do at Stanford. Stanford’s 2024 Class is exceptional, with three freshmen who are potential senior national team players, one highly-regarded international player, and two transfers who are potential 1st team college All-Americans. It would be difficult to top that class. Given the new roster limits that will go into effect next year, Stanford (as well as Cal and UCLA) will have to be more selective in the number of players they recruit in a typical year.
To keep the spotlight in this thread on the Class of 2025 commits, I will start a separate thread discussing the new rules affecting roster sizes and athletic scholarships.
Jeff, since you are so knowledgeable on the subject, how might you characterize the 2024 recruiting classes for the other big four powers, Cal, UCLA (now with Brinkema) and USC? I agree Stanford’s class is top flight but wondering how the others measure up in your opinion. Thanks in advance and thanks for making this such a worthwhile site to visit!
