With the announcement that Kap 7 will be the ball at world championships and the 28 Olympics, have we seen the end of the slick Mikasa?

I hope so. Those ball are slick and bounce funny off the water on skip shots. They may be safer for goalies but that is about it.

Weird that usawp signed with them possibly knowing they wouldn’t even be the LA28’ ball?
Well, USAWP signed with S&R Sport / Delfina back in April so it looks like the Mikasa relationship was coming to an end. Delfina has a ball and S&R sells both that and the Winart balls.

It looks like they’re not using the mikasa at the US/AUS games. That’s a good sign.
