National League

With the National League starting in 5 weeks. Does anyone know how many college teams have entered? In the past college teams only competed in the fisher cup but now can compete in the national league this season since teams are now allowed to compete as a club. If the USA Senior A and B along with Junior A and B play as well it could be the first exciting season for the National League!

Hope so and maybe some marketing of the events. Good time for ncaa and usawp to work together.

Schedule of games, scores, stats, streaming, leaderboard, social media , etc…

dates are out and it looks similar to Futures with a north and south league so should be lots of teams if they had to split it up like that.

Maybe @waterpolowednesdays will get excited enough to kick back into gear. This would be a good indicator of next years NCAA teams, minus any national team prospects who compete with the pipeline teams. Also a good way to get noticed by the pipeline coaches for any kids who have improved thanks to 24 hour a week practice schedules and great college coaches. .

I am wondering if the UOP tournament could get involved here also and expand past college teams to up the ante?

Oh yes! We’ve known about this for some time and will absolutely be talking about it. There should be close to 20 total teams and about 10-13 games per team this season, locations tbd.
Wrt to the pacific tournament, that will be hosted and run by pacific, separate from the NL.
Tons of great info to come and don’t worry, water polo Wednesday will be back in a couple short weeks!
