Bracket 1:

  1. Mission vs (winner of Anteater vs ChannelCats)

  2. NYAC vs ( winner of Sunset vs Trojans)

Winner of 1 vs 2 in Semis

Bracket 2

  1. OClub vs (winner Riptide vs Long Beach)

  2. LAAC vs (winner USA Pipeline vs CIU)

Winner of 3 vs 4

Bracket Winners play in final

Notes:

  • UCLA members that are on Pipeline are playing for Bruin apparently
  • Not sure why Sunset made tournament with no wins?
  • Is this one and done for teams? I cant imagine as they need placings for Senior Nationals?
  • Where are games Friday?
  • NTSC is going on at Mt Sac so lots of younger players can watch (good idea)

Is there any published criteria for why certain teams (besides the obvious teams) made the finals over others? Is it team availability?

Our understanding is that these were the 12 teams who opted in to finals, not every team was able to compete in finals due to game restrictions or prior commitments.

I think itā€™s cool what you are doing and this will bring in more spectators. But if the goal is to legitimize the National League, Iā€™ve got some concerns about bringing in ringers for the finals. Id rather bring in a team of those guys to play an exhibition against the champion.

Is there a link to the current National League stats? During the podcast, it was mentioned that current stats had just been released, but I canā€™t seem to find them on the 6-8 website. Thanks

Let me clarify, the 6-8 Scores page shows updated team scores, but individual stats do not seem to be updated beyond each teamā€™s 6th game.

Yeah, if you click on each team to see individual stats, they have not been updated since each teamā€™s 6th game. Or at least thatā€™s what I see.

Should be interesting to see how they both adapt to US reffing and vice-versa, pretty different in the Euro leagues they r used to.

UOP transfer to SC actually played for UOP last weekend in thier tournament. They got last. Incredible shooter though.

I am really looking forward to this weekendā€™s games. So many great players on the rosters. Mt. SAC is a fantastic venue for water polo.
