Game On Live Studio

I have been trying to watch games on Game On Live Studio (GOLS) and the website is almost unusable, at least on my end. When I try to watch an event I get caught in an endless loop of links that gets me nowhere. I’ve watched games in the past with no issues, but now the website seems broken. Does anyone else have this issue?

I miss watching on YouTube

Yes - live, you can select different pools and go back and forth in the same day. After the event is over, you can’t watch any part and it’s an endless loop of “watch now” that just gets you back to the same page over and over.

Odd. I haven’t noticed any issues. I’m using the Chrome Browser on Windows 10. The URL is: https://www.live.gols.co/

From there, I scroll down and across to find the event.

Again scroll down and across to find the game.

That takes me to the Watch Now screen.

Click the Watch Now button and the video starts playing.

Yes. It seems the past streams only work for a short period. I like GOLS and appreciate what they do. The free product is great but when they charge, the quality seems to go down, not up. Overnght has set the pay for bar quite a bit higher.

I have the same issue when I try to watch on my android through Chrome, but if I open an incognito window it works just fine. Not sure what sort of device you are using, but that is the only time I have had an issue.

I didn’t see GOLS at JO Quals this past weekend. Does anyone know if they will be streaming at JO’s?

GOLS will be at JOs.

Watching the $29 Livestream for Futures… It looks like the main improvement since the last time I had to purchase a livestream is that they managed to put a fancy banner in the bottom with the team & scores… but it is G-L-I-T-C-H-Y AF. The ads definitely play more smoothly. The announcer sounds only 1/4 interested (not even 1/2 interested) in what’s going on. No game clock… and the shot clock by the pool would be nicer to follow, but with the glitching, it’s like a digital clock on the fritz.

I kind of wish you could hear what the coaches are saying during the time outs (but it’s muted). It would be interesting to get a glimpse into the different coaching styles at the older age levels.

At least your pool has announcers and is something other than dial up video. It’s amazing that we all thought it would be different after being burned 5x before. This is a $5 livestream which would come with equivalent expectations.

Plenty of parents have streamed games to YouTube with far higher video quality and attention to the game. Why can’t GOLS figure this out?

Our team literally streams on Youtube and it’s way better. Plus you get the parent commentary!
