Last, but not least, here’s a 14-man roster comprised of Class-of-2029 players. There are dozens of other players worthy of recognition.
Koa Zertuche – goalie, Dos Pueblos. Expected to be the starting goalie for a top 25 team.
Hudson Koonings – goalie, Cathedral Catholic. Playing behind two very good goalies, Koonings probably won’t start for Cathedral until 2027.
Hunter Loo – center defender, Oaks Christian. Should see playing time as a freshman for a top 5-8 team.
Nathaniel Gluzman-Chuang, center defender, Beckman. Could start as a freshman.
Owen Marks – center, Newport Harbor. Will be Newport’s 2nd or 3rd center. Marks is also an excellent basketball player.
Derek Spruill – center, Corona del Mar. Not likely to receive significant playing time until 2026.
Francesco Pintaric – center/center defender/attacker, Loyola. May start as a freshman for a top 20 team. Pintaric could be Loyola’s best player in 2026. He is also an excellent tennis player.
Chris Koo – attacker, JSerra. Will start for a top 5 team. Koo is considered by some to be the top player in the Class of 2029.
Channing Wigo – attacker, Dos Pueblos. Will start for a top 25 team. Wigo is considered by many to be one of the top two players in the Class of 2029.
Max Johnson – attacker, De La Salle (21.81). Should receive significant playing time as a freshman for a top 10 team. Johnson is also an excellent swimmer.
Blake Elder – attacker, Miramonte (22.35). Probably won’t receive significant playing time for Miramonte (a top 5 or 6 team) until 2026.
William Gorsche – attacker, Harvard-Westlake. Should receive significant playing time as a freshman for a top 15 team.
Curren Francisco – attacker, Newport Harbor. Will probably start for Newport in 2026.
Ren Fugikake – attacker, Westlake. Should receive significant playing time as a freshman for a top 20 team.
