Super appreciative to have this site, but I have found it a bit confusing to navigate and recently heard from some parents who were active on WPP that they don’t visit the site anymore for the same reason (which is what prompted me to write this).
Is it possible to organize the categories and sub-categories identical to WPP? I think folks are used to that format. For example, separating HS Boys and HS Girls as well as college would help.
Also, “Topics” vs “General” vs “All Categories” tabs seem redundant and adds to the confusion. The number of topics right now is manageable, but it will be really difficult to navigate down the road as this site continues to grow.
I think the “All Categories” tab functions the way the “Board Index (home)” tab functions on WPP and “Topics” feels more like “General: New News and Posts.” So maybe make the “All Categories” tab the default home tab instead of “Topics?”
Again, it’s amazing that you guys got this off the ground and really appreciate the service you are providing to this community!
